About Johnny Locksmith

Hi, I’m Osher, and I’m the guy behind Johnny Locksmith.

If you’re looking for a locksmith in Phoenix, you probably found us because something is urgent, or you want to do something the right way before it becomes urgent. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

I built this company to be the kind of locksmith service I would want for my own family, clear, fair, professional, and with respect. The locks and keys matter, but so does how you’re treated while it’s happening.

My story, how I became a locksmith

As a kid, I was always like doing things with my hands, whether it was building a table, fixing things that stopped working like electronics, or even playing with anything that required using my hands and my brain at the same time, so it led me as a grown man to look into things with technical skills.

I started working for a locksmith company doing basic work like opening doors and cars. In no time, I really liked the idea of helping people, giving me a great feeling, but at the same time, my technical skill level was nowhere near my potential, so I started investigating and learning more complicated services that connected to my current work. I learned, read, and checked systems in the locksmith field that required more thinking. I went by myself to events and renovations in this industry and finally decided to start my own company.

Starting out, no office, just work ethic

When I just started, I was driving my van without any office and focusing on getting all the complicated jobs that regular locksmiths don’t want to deal with.

Slowly, for every problem I was facing, I was getting back into my computer and doing deep research about it. Over time, I took courses to get more knowledge and become a pro.

That early phase taught me how to think. Not just how to finish a job, but how to diagnose the real problem, choose the right solution, and do it clean so it lasts.

Automotive was a stepping stone, learning precision and systems

At the beginning, a lot of my learning came from automotive calls because they force you to be precise. Keys, ignition systems, programming, and security checks, you can’t “wing it” and hope for the best. That work pushed me to invest in better tools and get sharper technically.

But for me, it was always bigger than cars. It was about building the skill set to handle the more complex work other people avoid.

2017, opening the shop, then going deeper into commercial and vendor work

In 2017 we opened our store and office location in the heart of Phoenix.

After that, I branched out heavily into commercial locksmithing and vendor services. That’s where I feel we provide the most value today, businesses and property operations need consistency, communication, and solutions that work across multiple doors, multiple users, and real daily traffic.

A big part of our work now includes multifamily environments and residential vendor service, including apartment communities and STRs (short-term rentals) where access control, turnover, and reliability matter a lot. When others avoid this type of work, I embrace it; this approach enables me to acquire the most advanced equipment, provide solutions for both businesses and residences, and solve problems that others cannot.

And until today we are providing locksmith services for the entire Phoenix metro with thousands of happy business and private customers.

The Company Story , Our Mission

Johnny Locksmith is simple in its purpose: help people regain access, regain control, and move on with their day, without confusion or games. We built this company for real life in Phoenix, emergency calls, busy storefronts, apartment turnovers, STR guest situations, doors that get used a hundred times a day, and the kind of problems that never show up at a convenient time.

We’re proud of the work because we know what it feels like on the other side of the door. When you call a locksmith, you’re trusting someone with your security, your time, and your property. That trust has to be earned.

Reliability is not just answering the phone, it’s showing up prepared and finishing clean. It’s doing the kind of work that holds up on the 1000th door use, not just the first test while we’re standing there.

It’s also being consistent for property teams and vendors who need the same standard across multiple units and multiple doors.

A lot of locksmith issues are not “just a lock.” Sometimes it’s door alignment, worn hardware, a latch that’s fighting the strike, a high-traffic closer, a master key system that’s grown into chaos, or an access setup that needs to work for staff, residents, and vendors.

We like that work. We take the time to diagnose the real cause, then fix it properly so it does not become a repeat problem.

Trust is clarity. We ask the right questions, explain the plan before we start, and don’t change the story after we arrive. If something is different than expected, we stop and explain what we’re seeing and what the options are, before work continues. No pressure, no confusion, just an honest next step.

Today, a big part of our work is commercial and vendor service, including multifamily communities and STR environments where access, turnover, and reliability matter every day.

The standard we live by

Automotive Locksmith

If it’s your car, you usually need help fast and you need it done correctly the first time. I help with lockouts, lost keys, spare keys, and many key programming situations depending on the vehicle.

If you’re not sure what key type you have, that’s normal. A quick year/make/model gets us moving in the right direction.

Residential Locksmith

If it’s your home or apartment, the goal is simple: doors that open when they should, lock when they should, and keys that make sense.

I help with lockouts, rekeys (especially after moving), lock repairs, and many smart lock installs and troubleshooting. If the lock turns fine with the door open but fights you when it’s closed, that’s often a door alignment issue, and fixing the right thing matters.

Commercial Locksmith

For businesses, it’s about access control and reliability. Doors get used all day, keys get copied, turnover happens, and suddenly nobody knows which keys are “out there.”

I help with rekeys after turnover, lock changes, master key systems, and door hardware issues that stop your day cold. If the door won’t secure, that’s the priority.

Just in Case You Need a Specific Service...

Pricing integrity, clear options up front

This is personal for me.

From the beginning of doing locksmithing, I realized that some of my competitors took advantage of customers with high prices and bad quality service and didn’t like it at all. I’d say I will never be this guy, and when I started my own company, it’s exactly what I did.

Doing things right is what I believe as a person, and it affects my customers as a business owner.

Here’s what that means in real life: we ask a few quick questions, we explain the options before we start, and we don’t “change the story” after we arrive. If something is different than what we expected, we pause and explain it clearly so you can choose the next step with confidence.

It’s really simple: be good and smile at the world, and the world will smile back.

What it's like Working With Us

Whether it’s your car, home, or business, security problems need to be handled quickly and correctly. We provide dependable locksmith solutions designed to restore access, improve security, and keep your property functioning the way it should, with clear communication and work done right the first time.

Fast Response When It Matters

We understand that automotive issues often happen at the worst time. Our goal is to arrive prepared and solve the problem efficiently.

A couple quick questions

The goal is to bring the right tools and avoid guessing, especially for automotive keys and commercial doors.

Upfront Communication

If there are multiple solutions, we explain the differences in plain English. You’ll understand what you’re paying for and why.

Clean Work That's Made to Last

Doors should latch correctly. Locks should turn smoothly. Keys should work consistently. We test everything before we leave.

Tools and training, why we take it seriously

Locksmithing is a hands-on trade, but it’s also technical, especially now. Cars changed. Commercial hardware changed. Even residential security upgrades aren’t what they used to be.

That’s why we invest in tools and training. Not for show, for results.

Automotive equipment that solves the right problem

Modern automotive locksmith work requires the right equipment and the right procedures. We built our capability around advanced key cutting and the tools needed for many programming situations, because that’s what customers actually need when they’ve lost keys or need a reliable spare.

Commercial hardware and vendor work needs consistency

After we opened the shop, we branched deeper into commercial locksmithing and vendor services. Businesses need work that holds up on high-traffic doors and a team that can communicate clearly, show up, and keep things organized.

Training is how you avoid “trial and error”

Tools don’t replace experience. Training and real-world reps are what keep the service clean: faster diagnosis, better decisions, and fewer repeat problems.

Safety and ethics

Security is the whole point of locksmithing, so we take it seriously.

Proof of ownership and authorization

For certain services, especially car keys, lock changes, and commercial access work, we may ask for proof of ownership or authorization. It protects you, it protects your property, and it’s part of doing the job responsibly.

Respect for privacy and property

We’re working on people’s homes, vehicles, and businesses. We treat that with respect. Professional communication, careful work, no unnecessary damage, and no drama.

No pressure, just clear choices

If we see something unsafe, unreliable, or worn out, we’ll tell you plainly and explain your options. No scare tactics, just practical guidance.

Cheap Honest Locksmith in phoenix are still there

The cliché says that everything wonderful in life costs money. But this shouldn’t always be the case when it comes to a locksmith.
